Dr. Diarmaid Scully

Dr. Diarmaid Scully is on the specialist register with the Medical Council of Ireland and graduated with honours in medicine from Trinity College Dublin in 2008. Prior to his general practice training completed in 2017, he finished his B.S.T. in paediatrics and worked in many hospitals and clinics throughout Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, the U.K. and Tanzania. He was employed in fields as diverse as medicine for the elderly, psychiatry, emergency medicine, rheumatology, palliative care, neonatology, oncology, paediatrics, endocrinology, bone marrow transplant and surgery. After returning to Trinity to pursue postgraduate general practice training, he decided to further his experience by taking up a partnership post in Dalhousie University Clinic, Canada, serving over 30,000 patients. Here he gained vast experience in all conditions, but more notably in sexual health, dermatological conditions, ADHD, gynaecology and joint injections. He also worked in a tertiary sexual health clinic providing PrEP in addition to providing diving medicals for the university. He equally has an interest in teaching medical students and has spent time examining at undergraduate and postgraduate levels receiving the title of Associate Professor in Dalhousie University. He always planned on setting up a modern day clinic in Dublin and is excited about sharing his expertise with the people of south Dublin.

Graduate of Trinity College Dublin (Honours and Professor's Prize in Psychiatry), Member of the Irish College of General Practitioners, Member of The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland-Children's Health, Postgraduate Diploma in Children's Health, Postgraduate Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Member of the Canadian College of Family Practitioners, Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada.
